Household Hazardous Waste and E-Waste Roundup March 16

Business waste will not be accepted at the event taking place at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works Fleet Maintenance Yard.

Spring cleaning can start early this year for those interested since a household hazardous waste and e-waste disposal is happening March 16.

The following items are some of what can be brought: Brake fluid, paint, paint thinner, pesticides or herbicides, motor oil, fluorescent light bulbs, expired pharmaceuticals and more

Items that cannot be brought include: Trash and tires, white goods such as  refrigerators, stoves and washing machines, hazardous and/or electronic waste from businesses, explosives, ammunition and radioactive materials.
