Spring cleaning can start early this year for those interested since a household hazardous waste and e-waste disposal is happening March 16. The following items are some of what can be brought: Brake fluid, paint, paint thinner, pesticides or herbicides, motor oil, fluorescent light bulbs, expired pharmaceuticals and more Items that cannot be brought include: Trash and tires, white goods such as  refrigerators, stoves and washing machines, hazardous and/or electronic waste from businesses, explosives, ammunition and radioactive materials.
