LA Fire Justice is a coalition of experienced LA wildfire lawyers, world-class fire origin and causation experts, insurance specialists, and community engagement leaders committed to seeking justice from Southern California Edison for victims of the Eaton Fire. Altadena resident Michael Packer emailed Patch (via his wife Stephanie Clayton) with the following account of a mountain lion encounter.. <blockquote> This past Sunday morning at 2:45 I was returning home from work. I was driving north on Lake St. just before Poppyfields and saw an animal out of the corner of my eye. I thought it was a coyote or a deer. I stopped to look and it was a mountain lion! The cat was about 75 pounds and was scavenging for food. I drove off and decided to call the police. They said to leave it alone and as long as it wasn't attacking anyone it was fine. </blockquote> Packer did not get a photo of the encounter; the accompanying picture is a file photo. Related:
