Potential Buyer of Lincoln/Altadena Lot Wants to Fix Up Building
A South Pasadena-based company is negotiating to buy the vacant lot at the northeast corner of Lincoln and Altadena.

A potential buyer of the lot at the northeast intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Altadena Drive says his company's intent would be to fix up a half-finished building on the property and prepare it for sale or a tenant lease.
Bill Davis, the owner and co-partner of the South Pasadena-based Huntington Group, told Altadena Patch that he is currently in negotiations to purchase the property, which is located at 575 W. Altadena Drive.
The lot was after years of sitting with an empty, half-built building. The lot used to host a market, church, and several other small businesses over the year.

The Huntington Group focuses on acquiring both residential and commercial real estate in Southern California on improving it, according to Davis. The firm does a lot of work with acquiring foreclosed properties, renovating them, and reselling them, Davis said.
Huntington's intention would be to complete construction on the existing building at the property. Once the property is improved, the company would seek to either sell it or lease it.

As to what might happen on the property, Davis said he is open to anybody who has interest and he would be happy to get community input. He said he believes , which discussed buying the property several years back, still might be interested in moving their school there, though the .
If not Aveson, the property is zoned for mixed retail and office space, Davis said, and he would gauge interest from potential business owners in the space.
