Rescheduled LitFest Pasadena Event to be Held May 12
The literary event at Pasadena Central Park includes contributions from Altadena novelists and other Altadena participants.

The Litfest Pasadena event that was originally held for March will be held on May 12 in Pasadena's Central Park.
Though the event takes place in Pasadena, there are several participants from Altadena: Michele Huneven, an Altadena novelist will be featured in one of the two biggest events of the day, Michele Zack, a board member at Altadena Heritage and former Town Council member is one of the organizers, and Altadena resident and novelist Jervey Tervalon is one of the founders of the event and will be moderating discussion panels.
The event was originally scheduled for March but was cancelled for rain.

In addition, Joseph Shuldiner, a founder of the now-defunct Altadena Urban Farmers Market and the market manager for the , will be part of a panel on cookbooks in the Internet age.
The event will also feature theater, music, and poetry, and there will be gourmet food trucks selling food, according to the event press release.

Panel discussion topics will include 21st Century Noir; The Rise of the Graphic Novel; Local L. A. Publishers: Where New York Dominates, L.A. Innovates; The L.A. Canvas; and History, Fiction...Truth?
The event will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday May 12 and admission is free.
