After an hour-long search following a residential burglary in the block of 1900 Minoru Drive, police were able to catch two suspects for the crime, according to Lt. Angela Shephard of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Officers from the Altadena Sheriff's Station along with the Pasadena Police Department set up a containment in the vicinity of New York Drive and Altadena Drive, according to an email from a department official.

The containment was set up around some time after 3 p.m. and the two suspects were found around 4:30 p.m.  The suspects were being brought around to witnesses who saw them flee the scene of the crime.

The call about the burglary came in around 2:40 p.m. and involved three suspects, according to an email from Virgina Cordova, a crime analyst with the department.

The containment was set up from the intersection of New York and Altadena, in a small dead-end street off Altadena called Meguiar Drive, and in some commercial buildings off Washington Boulevard east of Altadena. A helicopter was circling the wash area between those locations searching for the suspects prior to them being found.
