Shooting in Northwest Pasadena
A man was shot and hospitalized with a non-critical wound Tuesday afternoon several blocks south of Pasadena's border with Altadena.
The Pasadena Police Department is investigating a shooting in the 1600 block of Fair Oaks Avenue Tuesday afternoon.
According to a press release, the male shooting victim has been taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have cordoned off Fair Oaks, El Sereno, Tremont and Howard.

Update: As of 1:10 p.m. police have rerouted traffic away from Washington Middle School and the school has resumed normal operations after being locked down by police briefly.
