Today in Altadena: Republican Club Dinner and the Kogi BBQ Truck

1. The Republican Club of the Foothills is hosting a dinner at The Thursday Club 4440 Woodleigh Lane, La Canada Flintridge. 2. Like Kogi BBQ? The famous Korean/Mexican fusion food truck will be in Altadena tonight 6 to 8:30 p.m. at 2029 N. Lake Ave.

3. The man killed in a fall near Inspiration Point in Altadena was identified as Martin Burns, an investigative journalist and producer at FOX 11 news. His colleagues remember their fellow reporter in a tribute webpage. Read the story here.

4. Get ready for some “boot-stomping” music with The Rock Bottom Boys at Coffee Gallery Backstage, 2029 N. Lake Ave. The band uses their knack for recreating familiar hits into hillbilly sounds. Show starts at 8 p.m. Admission is $15.
