On Tour: Smithsonian's Lowrider Exhibit Will Travel Through 2029 (hagerty.com) — A new Smithsonian traveling exhibit on lowrider culture kicked off its multi-year tour at MUZEO Museum and Cultural Center in Anaheim, putting the city at the starting line of a national celebration of this art form. Deputies Seek Help Identifying Skeletonized Remains Found in Anaheim (mynewsla.com) — Skeletonized human remains were found October 11 off the Santa Ana River Trail near Yorba Regional Park in Anaheim, and investigators are asking for the public’s help to identify the man. Authorities released clothing details and a basic description and are working with a forensic artist on a likeness. Anyone with information is urged to call the Orange County Coroner’s Office.

Irvine City Council Splits on Plans for Future of Great Park (voiceofoc.org) — Orange County cities, including Irvine, have formally backed moving the long-debated veterans cemetery project to Anaheim, securing over $65 million for that site while Irvine rethinks its Great Park plans. Irvine’s council just approved a land swap, nixed a proposed columbarium, and is weighing alternatives like a library, despite earlier voter zoning for a cemetery on the park land.
