Contra Costa County Health Services in partnership with <a href="https://ccclib.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Contra Costa County Library System</a> are here to support library staff and patrons alike. Currently the Library Wellness Team consists of a Community Support Worker and Mental Health Clinician. They assist individuals in various areas that library staff may not be able to. They offer education about Contra Costa County’s mental health and community support services. They do this through lived experience, education and a passion to help and serve our communities to enhance wellness. They offer a supportive ear and bring a new addition to the library system via connections and partnerships.

Come help decorate our tree with paper snowflakes that you create. Pick up a simple winter-themed craft kit to make at home. Craft kit may vary and will be available while supplies last. 
From Tuesday, December 2, 2025 - Saturday, January 31, 2026.

Join us for an interactive storytime program for families, presented by <a href="https://www.tandembayarea.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Tandem, Partners in Early Learning</a> in a bilingual English/Spanish format.

For children ages 0-5 years old and caregivers. Each storytime lasts approximately 20-30 minutes. After storytime we offer a 30-minute stay-and-play session that allows children and caregivers to meet and interact with our collection of building toys and early literacy activities.

Designed for ages 2-5 and their caregiver, but all ages are welcome.
