• Person found dead following intense house fire in Lucerne Valley (vvdailypress.com) — Apple Valley Fire Protection District crews helped battle a deadly house fire in nearby Lucerne Valley on Sunday, where an adult was later found dead inside the burned home. Firefighters faced heavy flames, possible explosive hazards, and a lengthy operation before the blaze was contained. Authorities are still working to identify the victim and are asking anyone with information to contact the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station or We-Tip.
