Arcadia Man Killed In Valley Glen Shooting Identified
Police on Monday identified two men shot to death over the weekend near Vanowen Street.

VALLEY GLEN, CA — The coroner Monday released the names of two men who died from a shooting in the Valley Glen area of Los Angeles.
Vartkes Mesrobian, 57, of Arcadia, was pronounced dead at the scene, and Hakop Papazian, 47, of Van Nuys, died at a hospital, coroner's Lt. Larry Dietz said.
Gunfire was reported at 8:51 p.m. Saturday in the 6700 block of Greenbush Avenue, just south of Vanowen Street and about four blocks east of Woodman Avenue, Police Services Representative S. Ball of the Los Angeles Police Department's Van Nuys Station said.

Witnesses said the suspect, who remains at large, was wearing a dark hoodie and khaki pants, Officer Norma Eisenman of the Los Angeles Police Department Media Relations Section said.
It was not immediately clear if the shooting was gang related, she said.
