• CARMA's 2025 Impact Report: Celebrating 17 Years Of Second Careers (paulickreport.com) — Arcadia-based nonprofit CARMA is wrapping up 2025 by highlighting 17 years of helping retiring California racehorses find safe second careers and by inviting last-minute, tax-deductible donations to its Huntington Drive office or online. This year’s milestones include the new Messineo Makeover Scholarship, which helped six riders and their CARMA-placement Thoroughbreds earn national recognition at the Retired Racehorse Project’s Thoroughbred Makeover.
