• Global Efforts Continue to Improve Safety, Resiliency and Maintenance of Roads (enr.com) — Arcadia is testing a new cloud-based traffic signal system designed to speed up responses for buses, ambulances, and other priority vehicles, cutting incident response times by more than a quarter. The pilot is part of a broader global push to use technology, new materials, and data to make roads safer, cooler, and more efficient. Local residents may notice smarter signal timing, especially during major events.
   

• Sierra Madre Police Respond to Suspicious Call at Alverno Heights Academy (coloradoboulevard.net) — Arcadia residents should know their local police helped Sierra Madre officers safely clear Alverno Heights Academy after an anonymous threat about devices on campus prompted a full evacuation and K-9 search.
