• Take an enchanted ramble by the light of the Wolf Moon at LA Arboretum (nbclosangeles.com) — Arcadia’s Los Angeles County Arboretum is hosting moonlit “forest bathing” walks under the Wolf Moon on Jan. 2 and 3, with more full-moon events planned throughout 2026. Local residents can reserve a single-evening ticket to enjoy guided, sensory-focused strolls as the garden shifts from sunset into night, all right in their own backyard. 
• Rose Parade 2026: Meet this year's Rose Queen and Court (sgvtribune.com) — Arcadia residents will see a hometown face leading the 2026 Rose Parade: Arcadia High School senior Serena Guo has been named the 137th Rose Queen and volunteers at the Arcadia Public Library. Another Arcadia High student, Sophia Ren, also joins the Rose Court, highlighting local teens’ leadership in debate, civic youth programs, and community-focused music initiatives alongside peers from nearby cities.
