The Camp Transformation Center in Covina Now Under New Ownership

The Camp Transformation Center, a radically different fitness franchise with community-focused gyms that have transformed thousands of lives across the United States, is excited to announce the grand reopening of its Covina location, situated at 809 E Edna Pl., Covina, CA 91723. Father-son team Carlo and Jared Destiné have taken over the reins and are excited to bring a fresh look and feel to The Camp Covina, which underwent an extensive remodel.

The Destinés are especially proud to retain the dedicated staff that members have come to know and trust. Director and trainer Chris Calles will continue to play pivotal role in the gym's daily operations and member experience.

The journey to ownership began when Jared, inspired by his own transformative experience with The Camp, introduced the idea to his father. After participating in and conquering The Camp's signature 42-day challenge, Jared's passion for fitness and the community-centric model of The Camp became evident. Witnessing his son's transformation, both physically and mentally, Carlo Destiné saw an opportunity for them to embark on a business venture together.

“After seeing the incredible change in Jared, not just in his physique but in his confidence and drive, I knew we had a unique chance to combine our strengths and passions,” says Carlo Destiné, co-owner of The Camp Covina. “The Camp isn't just about fitness; it's about transformation in every sense, and I wanted us to be a part of that journey for others."

Jared leaves the corporate world behind and looks forward to helping others achieve their fitness goals. He is equally excited about working alongside his father. "My dad has qualities I've always admired. Being able to connect with anyone and everyone is something I've seen him do effortlessly. I believe we'll make a great team, blending the wisdom of experience with the energy of the new generation."

Jared, who has a background in property management and commercial real estate, says the transition into ownership was smooth.

As we start this new chapter with the franchise, it feels great knowing they've got our backs. It just confirms we made the right call,” adds Jared.
