Homeowners Energy Efficiency Workshop this Saturday
Discover how to earn up to $8,000 in rebates from Energy Upgrade California.

A free energy efficiency workshop for Los Angeles County homeowners will be presented this Saturday by Energy Upgrade California and the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments at the .
"Any homeowner that is looking to improve the quality of air, or to reduce their electric bills or to improve the value of their homes need to take advantage of this workshop," said Will Amstrong, a public relations specialist with Energy Upgrade California.Â

Energy Upgrade California is a collaborative program administered by the California Energy Commission in partnership with public and private utilities to help homeowners make improvements that can save energy.
During the workshop there will be a presentation on what the program offers, the benefits of completing an energy upgrade, and how to earn incentives along the way.

Attendees will learn how to save money, increase energy efficiency, and earn up to $8,000 in rebates from the program.Â
Typical home improvements include sealing air leaks, adding insulation, replacing windows, and upgrading lighting, appliances and water heaters, among others.
The event at the Baldwin Park Senior Center will run from 10:00 a.m to 11:30 a.m.
