• Owners of shapewear store in Baldwin Park believe vandal intentionally rammed truck into building (abc7.com) — Owners of Fajas Genoveva on Maine Avenue in Baldwin Park say a pickup truck deliberately rammed their shapewear shop, causing about $17,000 in damage and deep safety concerns. Surveillance video shows the hit-and-run and later visitors, though nothing was stolen. The owners blame ongoing neighborhood problems and have asked city leaders for action while considering leaving the area.
   

• DUI Driver Arrested After Crashing Into Baldwin Park Tire Shop Early Sunday Morning (baldwinparknewsonline.com) — A driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI after crashing through the front window of Erik’s Tires on Ramona Boulevard in Baldwin Park early Sunday, causing major damage but no injuries. Baldwin Park police and L.A. County firefighters responded just before 1 a.m., and the shop was closed at the time. The non-resident driver was evaluated at the scene and taken into custody.
