1 Killed, 1 Hurt In Inland Empire Pit Bull Attack: Report
Officers fatally shot a pit bull after two dogs charged at an officer and a victim.
SAN BERNARDINO, CA — A woman was killed and another person was injured after two pitbull dogs attacked them at a park in the Inland Empire this week, NBC4 reported.
Officers responded to the attack around 5 p.m. on Thursday at Perris Hill Park in the 1100 block of East Highland Avenue, Capt. Nelson Carrington of the San Bernardino Police Department told the station.
Arriving officers immediately began to help one of the victims. After the two dogs charged at the victim and officers, an officer fired his weapon, killing the animal, NBC4 reported.

A woman with "severe" injuries was found almost 30 yards away. She was taken to a hospital, where she died of her injuries, police said. Meanwhile, the condition of the other victim is unclear.
