17-Year-Old Boy ID'd As Victim In Fatal Gilman Springs Road Crash

The wreck was reported just after 1 a.m. Saturday in an area approximately 275 feet east of Highway 79, in San Jacinto.

SAN JACINTO, CA — A teenager was killed over the weekend in a solo-vehicle rollover crash on Gilman Springs Road.

Jacob Parish, 17, of Riverside died in the wreck that was reported just after 1 a.m. Saturday in an area approximately 275 feet east of Highway 79, in San Jacinto, according to the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner's Bureau.

When Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department crews arrived at the crash scene, they found the vehicle on its roof and three crash victims, including one person who was trapped inside the wreckage.

The teenager died at the scene and two other people were sent by ground ambulance to an area hospital with critical and minor injuries, according to the fire department. Their identities were not released.

The California Highway Patrol is overseeing the crash investigation, the fire department said.
