2 Displaced In Banning House Fire

BANNING, CA — Two adults were displaced after a residential fire sparked amid a scorching heat wave in Riverside County, authorities said.

The fire was reported at 10:17 a.m. Sunday in the 500 block of South Woodland Avenue in Banning, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

Crews contained the fire to the single-story residence, fire officials said. The garage was destroyed in the blaze.
