2 RivCo Restaurants Make Yelp's 2025 Top 100 List
From a classic Italian deli to a farm-fresh desert destination — here are the restaurants that made the coveted list.
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Are you looking for a restaurant to try? Yelp just posted its annual list of 100 best U.S. eateries and two Riverside County spots made the lineup.
Yelp, which allows users to review restaurants, used its votes from patrons to determine which eateries made the list. From fast-casual favorites to a multicultural mashup of Mexican, Cambodian, Thai, Filipino, Mediterranean and more — the list reflects a diverse palette.
“Exceptional cuisine can come from anywhere,” said Gilberto Cetina, the chef-owner of Holbox, the eatery that cinched the #1 spot on the list.

Holbox (pronounced hol-bosh), named for an island of the Yucatán Peninsula, is a casual Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles that regularly draws long lines for its fish tacos, ceviches, aguachiles and more, according to Yelp.
In response to the fires that devastated communities in LA last month, the eatery also provided meals to first responders and evacuees.

At least 13 other eateries that made Yelp's list were from Southern California.
In Riverside County, two made the list — La Copine and Cardelli's Italian Market Deli & Catering.
Cardelli's Italian Market Deli & Catering, located in Riverside, is known for its sandwiches such as its meatball, pastrami and the Cardelli, which has Boar's Head capicola, mortadella, Genoa Salami and provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo and Italian dressing — served on French bread.
The deli is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Monday to Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. It is closed on Sundays. Cardelli's is at 7786 Limonite Ave.
The food at La Copine, located in Yucca Valley, is described as "just drop dead gorgeous," by one Yelper. "I've been dreaming about the grilled bread with ricotta, figs and honey," said Liana H.
This eatery, which has received rave reviews, is near Joshua Tree and offers seasonal menus with farm-fresh ingredients.
The Winter 2025 menu includes Pumpkin French Toast, Mushroom & Leek Soup, breakfast items like the Eggs Atlantic with "kippered" salmon, and plenty of green-packed salads.
La Copine, at 848 Old Woman Springs Rd., is open from Thursday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
