3 RivCo Girls Sexually Assaulted At Sleepover; 2 Arrested: Cops

Deputies said three girls were photographed and sexually assaulted over the past three years while attending sleepovers at a friend's house.

RIVERSIDE, CA — A man and a woman were arrested on multiple charges relating to the suspected sexual assault of three girls who had attended sleepovers at a friend's house over three years, authorities said.

In September, The Riverside County Sheriff's Department opened an investigation into allegations of child molestation reported to Child Services.

Three girls told investigators that they had been photographed and sexually assaulted at a home in Riverside, deputies said.

Investigators determined that Christopher Gary Tilden, 45, was the primary suspect, while Katrina Tilden, 43, failed to notify law enforcement after learning about the assaults.

At 8 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, Lake Mathews Sheriff's Station and the Riverside County District Attorney's office served a warrant of the Tilden home on the 12000 block of Orangemont Lane in Lake Hills — an incorporated community in Riverside. A warrant was also served at Christopher's work.

Detectives recovered electronics that will be searched.

Christopher was arrested on suspicion of multiple charges of lewd acts with a minor, sexual abuse of a minor, dissuading a witness and child endangerment. Meanwhile, Katrina was arrested for suspected child endangerment, accessory and dissuading a witness, the sheriff's department said.

The Tilden's are being held at the Robert Presley Detention Center. Christopher is being held in lieu of $2 million bail.

No other information was immediately available.
