While the Girls' Tennis team lost their match to Hueneme, they finished second in league to advance to the playoffs in an "impressive" season, according to the school.

The school's cross country program is celebrating a "historic "season. The boys' varsity team won the Sun Valley League Championship title for a second year — dominating the league finals race with a perfect score of 15 points by capturing the top six positions, the school said.

As for Banning Football, the team capped off "an incredible season," winning a league title and a 9-1 finish, which is "a remarkable turnaround" from last year’s 1-9 record. According to the school, this score marks the program's eighth league title and the team's first playoff opportunity in more than 10 years.

"This is a significant milestone for Banning High School athletics," Athletic Director Brandon Mason said. "We are excited to see our teams compete at the CIF level and encourage the community to come out and support our Broncos."
