5 Displaced After Banning Home Catches Fire

BANNING, CA -- Five people were displaced Monday afternoon when a Banning home erupted in flames. The fire was reported at 12:53 p.m. in the 800 block of North Alessandro Road.

Officials said more than 20 firefighters knocked down the flames in the single family home shortly after arrival, but the blaze left two adults and three juveniles without a home.

The American Red Cross was requested to assist the family, officials said.
