7 Dogs Found Dead In Cabazon RV Fire

According to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department, the fire was reported in the 14600 block of Mission Street.

CABAZON, CA — Firefighters who battled an RV blaze Tuesday night in Cabazon were unable to save seven dogs inside the rig.

According to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department, the fire was reported at 8:10 p.m. in the 14600 block of Mission Street.

When crews arrived on scene they found the RV "fully engulfed" in fire, the agency reported.

The blaze was fully contained by 8:32 p.m., but "unfortunately, seven dogs were located deceased inside" the RV, according to the agency.

No other injuries were reported.

The Red Cross was requested to help displaced residents.
