Two active SIG Alerts were causing freeway lane shutdowns to traffic hazards slowing traffic from Rancho Cucamonga to Temecula, and beyond.
At 8:30 a.m., the biggest issues on the roadway were SIG Alerts. CHP on the I-10 just west of the I-15. On eastbound I-10 at Vinyard Avenue, the slow lane was closed as Caltrans repaired a section of guardrail. "The repair is due to a traffic collision," CHP Dispatch reported. There was no estimate given for the length of that repair, so drivers on I-10 approaching the I-15, be prepared for extra time in your travel.
Another SiG Alert was in place for eastbound SR-60 drivers, just west of Valley Way. There, the right two lanes were blocked due to a crash in that area, according to CHP. Expect the closure to last until about 10 a.m., due to that traffic collision, they said.
