Additional Victims Sought In IE Child Pornography Investigation
Walter Yonatan "Jonny" Aguirre Gonzalez is accused of sex crimes against two children, but investigators believe there may be more victims.

ADELANTO, CA — A high-desert man is being held without bail Monday following his arrest last week on suspicion of a slew of sex crimes involving at least two young children, according to authorities.
Walter Yonatan “Jonny” Aguirre Gonzalez, 40, of Adelanto, was arrested Dec. 11 and is facing charges of oral copulation with a child under 10, lewd and lascivious acts with a child, production of child pornography, and possession of child pornography. He was due in court on Monday.
The investigation into Aguirre Gonzalez began Sept. 23 when the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department received a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children concerning the sexual abuse of multiple juveniles, according to the sheriff's department.

During the investigation, Aguirre Gonzalez was identified as the suspect. A search warrant was obtained to search his electronic devices, which turned up evidence against him, including information about alleged sex crimes against an 8-year-old child and a 5-year-old, according to the sheriff's department.
