Another Small Earthquake Rattles Inland Empire
Wednesday afternoon's temblor was the third reported this week.
BANNING, CA — A magnitude 3.2 earthquake centered near Banning shook the Inland Empire Wednesday afternoon, including as far south as Murrieta.
The temblor reported at 3:35 p.m. was centered 2.5 miles northeast of Banning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake follows two reported this week in the area. A magnitude 3.5 temblor centered about 2 miles from Big Bear struck at 11:59 p.m. Monday. It was followed by a magnitude 3.2 quake that hit at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday near Borrego Springs.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage from any of the temblors.
