Banning Apartment Complex Catches Fire

BANNING, CA -- A fire erupted in an apartment structure in Banning on Friday afternoon. The fire was reported around 2:45 p.m. Friday in the 200 block West Nicolet Street, Riverside County Fire Department said.

The fire erupted on the roof of the second story apartment building, prompting a response from 19 firefighters and six engines.

No injuries were reported.

It was unclear what caused the fire or the amount of damages lost.
