BANNING, CA — Pastor Todd Oldenburg, of Thrive Church in Banning, was awarded the Citizen of the Year by the Banning Chamber of Commerce at the 2025 Installation Gala affair.
On Wednesday, Banning's Chamber of Commerce supporters gathered at the Morongo Casino Resort ballroom for the annual installation dinner event, where Pastor Todd received a Spotlight Citizen of the Year award during the ceremony.
"Pastor Todd is more than a leader—he’s a beacon of hope, faith, and service in our community. Through his unwavering commitment, he has uplifted countless individuals and families, offering not only spiritual guidance but also practical support to those in need.

Thrive Church is located in the city of Banning. The church, led by Odenburg, has a vision of knowing God, serving others, impacting the city and touching nations, according to its website. According to a Chamber spokesperson, Odenburg models that vision, daily.
