Beaumont Felon Arrested; Accused Of Possessing Non-Serialized Gun
A 19-year-old Beaumont man was arrested for allegedly possessing a non-serialized firearm and ammunition and violating probation.
BEAUMONT, CA — A 19-year-old Beaumont man was arrested for allegedly possessing a non-serialized firearm and ammunition and violating probation, authorities said Saturday.
The Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force served a search warrant at a residence in the 700 block of Michigan Avenue in Beaumont at 11:30 p.m. Friday.
During the search, law enforcement personnel allegedly located a loaded 9mm semi-automatic handgun without any identifying serial numbers. Task force officers arrested Adrian Cortez, who was described as a convicted felon and documented criminal street gang member.
