Beaumont High Grad Kayvon Khodadadi Accepts Academic-Athletic Scholarship to Play at UC Riverside

Recent Beaumont High graduate Kayvon Khodadadi, Cougars Class of 2013, has accepted an academic-athletic scholarship package to attend UC Riverside and play baseball for the Highlanders beginning this fall.

"Kayvon hit .325 during his senior season, while leading the team with 2 HR and 21 RBI, and compiled an ERA of 2.64," Cougars Athletic Director Martin DuSold said in an announcement.

"Over the course of his career at BHS, Kayvon won a total of 13 games while on the mound for the Cougars, and had 46 RBI, while earning varsity letters in each of his 4 seasons," DuSold said.

Khodadadi was selected 1st-team all-Mountain Pass League following his junior and senior seasons. He earned a cumulative GPA of 3.27.
