Beaumont Resident ID'd In Deadly Crash

BEAUMONT, CA — A Beaumont man has been publicly identified in a crash that happened earlier this week in San Timoteo Canyon. Coroner's officials say 48-year-old David Rodriguez died at the scene of the Monday collision.

The crash happened around 12:35 p.m. Monday on Redlands Boulevard, about a quarter-mile south of San Timoteo Canyon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. Rodriguez died about 10 minutes later.

According to preliminary reports from the CHP, a Rodriguez was going northbound on Redlands Boulevard when he veered into southbound traffic for unknown reasons, slamming into a truck. Another vehicle was also involved, but no other details were immediately available.
