Beaumont Teacher Named RivCo Teacher Of The Year

BEAUMONT, CA — A Beaumont educator was honored Friday with the prestigious "Teacher of the Year" award from the Riverside County Office of Education.
Tracy Waters, a fourth grade teacher at Starlight Elementary School, received the news via a surprise visit from some of the county and district's top officials.
As Waters was out doing what she does best — interacting with the youth she cares so deeply for — Riverside County Superintendent of Schools Dr. Judy White rolled up onto the fields to reveal the Beaumont woman had been selected 2020 Riverside County Teacher of the Year.

Waters is currently a fourth grade teacher at Starlight and is in her 23rd year of teaching.
