BEAUMONT, CA — Beaumont motorists are urged to plan ahead for any late-night commutes on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Both the eastbound and westbound freeway off-ramps from Interstate 10 to Oak Valley Parkway will be closed from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. each night, according to city officials.

"The closure will be in place for the removal of existing striping material in preparation for permanent lane configurations," the city said.

It's all a part of the larger Oak Valley Signalization Project to install traffic lights at the notoriously busy and congested I-10 overpass. The project is expected to wrap by the middle of this month.
