'Below Average' Temps Expected This Week in the Pass

A weather pattern described as "stagnant" and "tranquil" is expected to bring dry weather with below average temps this week in the San Gorgonio Pass, according to the National Weather Service.

Here's a Weather Service description of the current trend:

A stagnant weather pattern with low pressure off the coast and high pressure over the plains will bring dry southwesterly flow to SoCal through the workweek. The result will be a tranquil weather pattern with below average temperatures, night and morning low clouds for the coasts and valleys, and complete lack of monsoonal moisture over the area.

Highs from Beaumont to Cabazon are expected to range in the 80s and 90s through Friday Aug. 9.
