Body Found In Banning Field, Police Say
Officers were sent to the area of W. Wilson Street and Sunset Avenue on Thursday morning after people reported human remains in the area.
BANNING, CA — Police are investigating after a body was found in Banning on Thursday morning, authorities said.
Police were dispatched to the area of W. Wilson Street and Sunset Avenue just after 9 a.m. after officers received reports of possible human remains in the area, the Banning Police Department said.
When officers arrived, they located a body. The scene is being processed by the by the Banning Police Department Detective Bureau, with assistance from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department’s Forensics Team and Coroners Bureau.

The incident is under investigation. No other information was immediately available.
