Body Found In Inland Empire Wash Identified As Fresno Resident
A suspect was arrested in the case.

YUCAIPA, CA — A young man found dead in a Yucaipa wash has been identified, and a suspect believed to be connected to his killing is behind bars.
Shortly after 6:30 a.m. on May 31, the body of 19-year-old Kenneth Xiong of Fresno was found in the Oak Glen wash near Avenue D. He had gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation into the killing led to Dennis Wright, 21, of Yucaipa, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.

On Sunday, Wright was tracked down by deputies and taken into custody. He's currently being held without bail at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga on suspicion of murder.
A possible motive for the killing was not released, and the relationship between Wright and the victim, if any, was not disclosed.
