WHITEWATER, CA — Crews from the Riverside County and Morongo fire departments were at the scene Tuesday of a blaze in the Whitewater area. Officials say that both vegetation and vehicles burned.
The fire was first reported around 3:20 p.m. in the 12000 Block of Desert View Avenue, which is in a neighborhood just north of Interstate 10.
Though initial reports indicated a structure burned in the fire, it now appears that only three vehicles and surrounding brush burned.
