Tashfeen Malik, the female shooter in the San Bernardino massacre that left at least 14 dead and 21 wounded, had pledged allegiance to ISIS using a Facebook alias, according to multiple reports.
In the post, Malik swore loyalty to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, CNN is reporting, citing “three U.S. officials familiar with the investigation.”
The post was deleted before the shooting, according to the Associated Press.

There is no evidence, however, that Malik and her husband, Syed Rizwan Farook, acted under orders from the terrorist organization, the New York Times reported.
“At this point we believe they were more self-radicalized and inspired by the group than actually told to do the shooting,” an unnamed official told the Times.
