CHiPs For Kids Toy Drive Dec. 17 at Yucca Valley Walgreens

California Highway Patrol personnel in Yucca Valley are planning a CHiPs For Kids Toy Drive on next Tuesday on Highway 62 and invite shoppers to participate.

The event is scheduled 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 17 at the Yucca Valley Walgreens, 58133 29 Palms Highway, Officer Joan Griffin of the Morongo Basin CHP said Wednesday.

All of the toys collected by the CHP are redistributed locally to children in need. We need your help in collecting toys," Griffin said. "Please bring  your new, unwrapped toy to Walgreens on 12/17/2013 or to the California Highway Patrol 
office between now and 12/20/2013."
