Cielo Wine Cellar Earns Wine Spectator Award Of Excellence For 10th Year In A Row

CABAZON, CA – Cielo, the AAA Four-Diamond restaurant atop the 27-story Morongo Casino Resort & Spa, has earned an acclaimed Wine Spectator award for the 10th year in a row, the resort announced.

Cielo, located at 49500 Seminole drive, Cabazon, inside the restort, has been critically acclaimed by Wine Spectator for nine years running. Once again, for the 10th time, the restaurant has been recognized with a 2025 Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator, the nation’s premier wine guide. The national honor recognizes restaurants offering excellent wine lists and menu selections that pair outstanding wines with distinctive fare.

Morongo’s Chief Executive Officer, Mike Bean, spoke on the honor.

“Morongo is honored to be recognized for a tenth year by Wine Spectator for our extraordinary wine offerings,” Bean said. “At Cielo, the crafting of our award-winning wine cellar is curated by our talented sommelier and our executive chef, who spend hours thoughtfully pairing our wine and menu selections to showcase some of the most esteemed winemakers in California and from across the globe.”

Cielo offers a carefully selected wine list that features boutique vintners from Napa Valley to the Pacific coasts of North and South America and Australia. Notable vintners on the list include Jordan, Freemark Abbey, Opus One, Silver Oak, and Caymus, to name a few.

Set atop the tallest building in Riverside County, Cielo is known for spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and gourmet meals from a menu that features classic steakhouse fare and seafood specialties.

Cielo’s other awards include a AAA Four-Diamond rating, a Top 10 Palm Springs-area steakhouse rating from Gayot, and OpenTable Diner’s Choice awards for scenic views, special occasion meals and romantic dining.
