Coroner IDs Man Killed In 60 Freeway Crash

The 60-year-old man from Pico Rivera died at the scene.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — A man who was killed in a three-vehicle crash on state Route 60 near Rubidoux was identified Sunday, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department announced.

The crash was reported around 7:10 a.m. Saturday on eastbound side of the freeway, west of Rubidoux Boulevard, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

A 60-year-old man from Pico Rivera identified as Avelino Sandoval died at the scene, and three others were rushed to a hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
