In honor of National Waffle Day, Aug. 24, diners donning chicken or waffle costumes can score free chicken & waffles at the legendary diner.

INLAND EMPIRE, CA — Have a chicken costume in your closet? Or a waffle get-up?
Then you're in luck as NORMS restaurants thoughout San Bernardino and Riverside counties are offering a free order of chicken and waffles Wednesday, Aug. 24, to patrons dressed as chickens, waffles — or both.
The freebie (an $11.99 value) requires a beverage purchase and runs 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., as a nod to National Waffle Day.

"All for the cost of a little creativity and a big sense of humor," NORMS said, "guests can enjoy three crispy fried chicken tenders, drizzled with a special bourbon glaze, and served over a fluffy Belgian waffle with a side of two eggs, any style."
And for NORMS’ 24/7 Rewards members, all waffle purchases on Aug. 24 will receive double points.

The legendary NORMS diner chain, serving up comfort food since 1949 at its first Sunset-and-Vine Hollywood locale, now operates 22 locations across Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside counties.
