Riverside County Earthquake Reported Near Cabazon
The quake shook parts of Riverside County early Thursday. Did YOU feel it?

CABAZON, CA — A magnitude 3.0 earthquake rolled through the San Gorgonio Pass and Coachella Valley areas of Riverside County early Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. It hit at 5:38 a.m. local time and was originally reported as a 3.3, but later downgraded.
According to a computer-generated report by the agency, the quake was centered:
- 6.8 mi ENE of Cabazon
- 8.1 mi WNW of Garnet
- 9.3 mi SW of Morongo Valley
- 9.9 mi W of Desert Hot Springs
- 11.8 mi NW of Palm Springs
