Evacuation Warnings Issued For IE Residents Hit By Winter Storm

Concerns about mud and debris flow prompted the warnings.

SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CA — The Bridge and Line fires consumed thousands of acres in San Bernardino and Los Angeles counties last fall, destroying many homes in Wrightwood as well as properties in Running Springs.

Firefighters from across the state battled the blazes. Over days and sometimes weeks, evacuated residents could finally return home.

Now, many of those residents are under evacuation warnings again due to mud and debris flow caused by wet winter weather bearing down on the region.
