BEAUMONT, CA — The annual Fall Fest is returning to a historic schoolhouse on Sept. 6 in the San Timoteo Canyon between Redlands and Beaumont.

The festival will be hosted at no cost to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the San Timoteo Schoolhouse. Attendees can explore the historic building, which is normally closed to the public.

The small adobe building was built in 1856, but it has received various upgrades over the years. In 1900, plumbing was installed, and a drinking fountain was built in front of it in 1925. The building was finally sold to the Riverside County Parks Department in 1993.
