Family Suspected Of Torturing 6 Children In The Inland Empire

VICTORVILLE, CA — A three-month investigation into a Victorville family suspected "of severe and prolonged abuse and neglect to six children" has resulted in arrests, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department announced Tuesday.
Kenneth Key, 60, Tina Key, 60, and Katlynn Key, 23, were arrested Monday on suspicion of torturing the children whose ages range from 5 to 16, according to the law enforcement agency.
It's not immediately clear how the three suspects and victims are related. An update in the children was unavailable.

The sheriff's department identified the location of the alleged torture as the 13000 block of Helena Drive, a residential neighborhood in Victorville. According to the agency, an investigation into the allegations began on February 13. It's unclear who reported the alleged abuse.
Jail records show the three suspects are due in court Wednesday with bail set at $1 million each.
