BEAUMONT, CA — Oak Valley Parkway was briefly closed on Thursday morning in Beaumont due to a fire in the area. An RV burned, sending black smoke through the region for a brief time.
The fire was first reported around 7:03 a.m. on the eastbound side of the roadway, right across from Noble Creek Park.
Firefighters from at least three engines percent to the scene, and had the blaze out within less than 30 minutes. The vehicle was destroyed, but no injuries were reported.

Police shut down Oak Valley Parkway in both directions in the area while crews mopped up the fire.
