Firefighters Extinguish Flames In Commercial Building In Beaumont

A portion of a 20,000-square-foot commercial building in Beaumont was damaged by fire.

BEAUMONT, CA — A portion of a 20,000-square-foot commercial building in Beaumont was damaged by fire, authorities said Saturday morning.

Firefighters responded to the 4200 block of Ramsey Street at 10:25 p.m. Friday and found fire coming from a part of the building and immediately requested additional resources, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

The flames were contained to about 3,000-square-feet of the building and a knock down was called about midnight, the department said.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
